I Went To Cuba With CodePink

I just got back from Cuba with CODEPINK. This is my second trip there this year, as I already went with the Nuestra America Convoy. This time we went to Hoguin instead of Havana, and we delivered big bags of lentils along with some medicine and school supplies.
We were there to show solidarity with the Cuban people. We are all in support of ending the embargo as soon as possible as it doesn’t help anybody and it makes no sense at all. There were constant blackouts because of the blockade. The Cuban people need oil to run the machines that produce crops and to transport goods, etc.
To me it seems like the United States is an evil force to the Cuban people, and despite that, we were treated with kindness and respect (as US citizens).

I uploaded all my photos and videos to https://archive.org/download/cuba-holguin-codepink-2026
I would absolutely go again.
Viva Cuba!
